Event Management in Australia is an extremely popular internship. The previous intern's role description was as follows:

  • ​Assist organising the V8 Scratchies sellers (ie. booking accommodation, flights, car hire, couriers, attending V8 events, a chance to travel around Australia and work on car racing events).
  • Assist the event manager, source fundraising and goodie bag items, maintain prize/stock inventory foraccounts and events departments, manage item storage, assist with event materials preparation, including event summaries, photographs and artwork.
  • Work on seating plans, prepare all forms for events (including raffle, silent auction, wish list and live auction), assist with themes and decoration, field calls and enquiries, and customer service.
