Sri Lanka is famous for its 1,600 km of unspoilt, golden beaches. It's a paradise
Island shaped like a tear drop in the Indian Ocean. The people are friendly, food
delicious and costs low. A stunning island filled with wildlife sanctuaries,
ancient cities, hills, beaches, and most of all, its incredible beauty.
You can volunteer in the community in a wide variety of projects, from caring for elephants
at Pinawala Elephant Orphanage, Teaching and Care for children, conservation with
elephants at Wasgamuwa National Park or conserving turtles at Ambalangoda. You can gain invaluable
work experience abroad on a veterinary, law or medical internship, or you can help with
community development by renovating a Buddhist Temple.
