WORKING WITH CHILDREN: GROUP VOLUNTEERING ABROAD

Working with Children can take many forms, from caring for little ones in creches and homes, to teaching disadvantaged children ranging from 6 to 18 in schools. The projects listed below giving you a wide choice of areas in which you and your group can give very valuable help.

Going out to a developing country and bringing care, education, love and attention to underprivileged children is one of the most welcomed help you can give! You'll work together with staff in the local community in a very hands-on way and your group will accomplish a lot - which in these communities means a lot!

Many of our Group Trips incorporate lots of cultural activities, but their main content is volunteering with children.

If you're a School group, community group, sports team, corporate group, university group or just a bunch friends looking for a great experience, you can choose any one of the established Group trips below ... or we can customise a trip for you to suit your requirements.

BALI | INDONESIA:
Teaching Children Programme plus Cultural Adventure Activities
You'll start with a Cultural Activities Week that will immerse you into the fascinating culture of Bali.

Then you and your group will work with local children as assistants to the teachers in class in schools or teaching centres. You'll be able to teach English language and/or a variety of English-based subjects. You'll also be able to help with Sports and Games.
The average ages of children are between 4-7 years old for preschool and 7-14 years old for primary school

Start your volunteering adventure with a week of cultural activities that will immerse you in Cambodian culture. SOUTH AFRICA:
Care, Teaching or Sports with Children, plus Cultural Adventure Activities

An exciting mix of volunteering adventurous cultural and conservation experiences. You choose your volunteering from either caring for children in a safe-house or creche, or teaching disadvantaged children in township schools, or coaching sports to underprivileged township children.

Your cultural adventures include observing dolphins and whales at sea, a conservation experience in a wildlife game reserve, volunteering with orphaned elephants, and visiting is the largest primate sanctuary in the Southern Hemisphere.

Start your volunteering adventure with a fun-filled week of Siam cultural activities, then follow this with some much-needed assistance teaching in rural schools in the local community.

The "Siam Cultural Week" is designed to ease you into the lifestyle and the culture of the country and is a fun introduction to life in Thailand and the perfect way to prepare for your volunteering project! Your second and subsequent weeks will focus on your volunteering programme of teaching in one of the many rural schools in Sungburi. Infinitely satisfying!
