VOLUNTEER AS A GROUP ABROAD: MEANINGFUL CUSTOMISED GROUP HOLIDAYS

Volunteering Projects Abroad and Volunteering Holidays for Groups that you can do as part of a gap year, a Work Experience placement, a mature grown-up-gappers group break, or just as a volunteering holiday in a different culture. Available for school groups, community groups, sports teams, corporate groups, university groups, friends, families ...

Volunteering abroad will change you. And you can change the lives of others for the better. We make the experience a safe, exciting adventure of a lifetime for people of all ages and walks of life.

One of the fantastic things about volunteering as a group is the amount of work and positive impact that you can do in a short period time - and not forgetting the amount of fun you can have while doing it! We take all the pressure off you by arranging everything and providing a safe, rewarding and enjoyable trip that starts when we meet you at the airport.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Programmes for groups of 5 people or more.
  • 1 FREE Group Leader place for groups of 10 or more participants on selected programs
  • Programmes include accommodation, food and on-site transportation.
  • Bespoke group trips or established group trip (as listed below).
  • Trips from 1 week to 3 months.
  • From conservation work to working with disadvantaged children, we have projects to suit everyone!
  • Our group projects are risk-assessed, safety audited and use BS8848 as guidance.
  • You'll have your own dedicated Group Programme Co-ordinator

AUSTRALIA:
Animal Care and Conservation in a Sanctuary in Sydney
This worthwhile project offers your group the opportunity to assist at an Australian wildlife sanctuary, working alongside the sanctuary team. You'll play an active role in preserving and increasing populations of rare and endangered Australian animals and plants. The Wildlife Park Sanctuary is located at Calga, a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, near Gosford, which is its nearest main town. It is roughly 40 miles / 70 Km from Sydney.

BALI | INDONESIA:
Cultural Adventure Activities and Voluntary Teaching Children Programme
You and your group will work with local children as assistants to the teachers in class in schools or teaching centres. You'll be able to teach English language and/or a variety of English-based subjects. You'll also be able to help with Sports and Games.
The average ages of children are between 4-7 years old for preschool and 7-14 years old for primary school

Conservation and Community Development in the Amazon Rainforest in Peru
A marvelous opportunity for your group to get involved in conservation and community development and contribute your volunteering efforts to this very rewarding multi-activity project in the greatest jungle in the world - the AMAZON!

Your group will actively assist in the environmental monitoring study, possibly at multiple locations, depending on what's required while you're there. Some aspects of the programme may be tailored to your group's specific requirements. SOUTH AFRICA:
Cultural Adventure Activities plus Care, Teaching or Sports Volunteering

An exciting mix of volunteering adventurous cultural and conservation experiences. You choose your volunteering from either caring for children in a safe-house or creche, or teaching disadvantaged children in township schools, or coaching sports to underprivileged township children.

Your cultural adventures include observing dolphins and whales at sea, a conservation experience in a wildlife game reserve, volunteering with orphaned elephants, and visiting is the largest primate sanctuary in the Southern Hemisphere.

Cultural Activities plus Teaching Children in Rural Schools in Singburi
Start your volunteering adventure with a fun-filled week of Siam cultural activities, then follow this with some much-needed assistance teaching in rural schools in the local community.

The "Siam Cultural Week" is designed to ease you into the lifestyle and the culture of the country and is a fun introduction to life in Thailand and the perfect way to prepare for your volunteering project! Your second and subsequent weeks will focus on your volunteering programme of teaching in one of the many rural schools in Sungburi. Infinitely satisfying!

THAILAND:
Cultural Activities plus Caring for Elephants in Kanchanaburi
Work with rescued elephants that are mainly injured, sick and elderly. They've been relocated to the Sanctuary where they are cared for and given a better quality of life. You’ll work hands-on with them, including swimming and taking mud baths with them, mucking out their enclosures and ensuring they live in a happy, comfortable environment!

If you do this project for one week, you'll start your programme immediately, but if you're lucky enough to be there for 2 weeks or longer, you'll start with a Cultural Activities Week that will immerse you into the fascinating culture of Thailand. This week includes Thai language and cooking lessons, visits to temples, and generally exploring and experiencing the region. Your Elephant Programme will start in Week Two.

THAILAND:
Care for Elephants in Kanchanaburi, Plus Coach Sports to Disadvantaged Children in Singbury
Expand your travel experience to include two different types of elements in two different locations, Singburi and Kanchanaburi:

(1) Work with rescued elephants in the stunning location of Kanchanaburi. The elephants are mainly injured, sick and elderly elephants which have been relocated to the Sanctuary where they are cared for and given a better quality of life, you’ll work hands-on with them, including swimming and taking mud baths with them, mucking out their enclosures and, most satisfying of all, ensuring they live in a happy, comfortable environment!

And (2) Help to coach a variety of sports to disadvanged children in the local community. Your work here will be extremely satisfying because you'll be helping kids who don't get much exposure to sports!
