We've put togther some very exciting Cultural Experience programmes with some very worthwhile volunteering below. On these programmes you'll begin with a week packed full of sightseeing and cultural activities. Then you'll immerse yourself fully into the local culture by assisting with some very worthwhile volunteering that will benefit the local community. Your volunteering help will be very hands-on and your group will accomplish a lot - which in these communities means a lot!

BALI | INDONESIA:
Cultural Adventure Activities and Voluntary Teaching Children Programme
You and your group will work with local children as assistants to the teachers in class in schools or teaching centres. You'll be able to teach English language and/or a variety of English-based subjects. You'll also be able to help with Sports and Games.

An exciting mix of volunteering adventurous cultural and conservation experiences. You choose your volunteering from either caring for children in a safe-house or creche, or teaching disadvantaged children in township schools, or coaching sports to underprivileged township children.

THAILAND:
Cultural Activities plus Caring for Elephants in Kanchanaburi
You'll start with a Cultural Activities Week that will immerse you into the fascinating culture of Thailand. This week includes Thai language and cooking lessons, visits to temples, and generally exploring and experiencing the region. Your Elephant Programme will start in Week Two.

You'll work with rescued elephants that are mainly injured, sick and elderly. They've been relocated to the Sanctuary where they are cared for and given a better quality of life. You’ll work hands-on with them, including swimming and taking mud baths with them, mucking out their enclosures and ensuring they live in a happy, comfortable environment!
