Bienvenido a la vida pura de COSTA RICA!

Pura vida (“real life”) is the unofficial motto of Costa Rica. And for a reason. Costa Rica is, in essence, a slice of tropical paradise in Central America and its inhabitants, AKA “the ticos”, are justifiably proud of it.

Perfect waves for surfing, breath-taking sunsets, misty crater lakes, waterfall-filled hiking trails, white-water rapids, sun-kissed beaches, adventure-filled paths and wildlife that includes howler monkeys, capuchins and other animals await you in this magnificently varied country.

Please see our list of brief descriptions below, then click on the link to read all about the project.

Hi, I'm Karen, Project Coordinator for Costa Rica, and I'll be working with you to arrange your ultimate experience here, so if you've any questions, please contact me:

ANIMAL WELFARE & CONSERVATION: Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation in a Marine Park in Costa Rica
Get involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of sea birds, mammals, and reptiles, including rare marine animals, before they are released to the wild.

You will also work behind the scenes in the aquarium, cleaning and feeding animals, including docile sharks & sea turtles. You will get closer to rare marine animals than most people ever do. Not many people can say that they have cleaned a shark!
