year outTake a year out to help with education in poorer areas of the world or maybe you are interested in conservation work. Travellers World Wide have courses and placements all over the world for persons looking to broaden their horizons through learning and diverse cultures. A year out doing hands on work with injured or orphaned animals in an animal sanctuary in a wildlife park, for example a lion breeding project in Africa, will look great on your CV . You could take a year out to learn a new language anywhere in the world, meeting new people and making new friends along the way.Travellers is a founder member of the Year Out Group, which, with the approval of UCAS and the DfEE , is dedicated to setting rigorous standards for structured gap year opportunities. Our placements are for anyone age seventeen to one hundred plus who are interested in taking a year out to open horizons and help people and animals less fortunate. |
