Athletics Western Australia
Athletics Western Australia partnered with Travellers to enable volunteers to develop Athletics at
grass routes level in Western Australia. Our volunteers work
with some of the top coaches in Western Australia to promote Athletics
and help coach tomorrow's athletes. |
AUSTRALIA

Floreat Athena FC
Floreat Athena FC have a large number
of teams at their club. They are one of the top football teams in
Western Australia and have a semi professional men's team. Our
volunteers help coach the junior teams at the club as well as training
and playing for the senior men's teams. |

Balga FC
Balga FC play in the amateur leagues of
the Western Australian Football League and has both men's and women's
teams. Our volunteers help coach the
junior teams and also train and play with the
senior teams. |
Palmyra Rugby Club
Palmyra Rugby Club plays in the top amateur
league in Western Australia. Our volunteers help coach the junior teams
at the club and they train and play with the senior teams.

ranked hockey club in WA. The club has junior, senior and veterans teams
and our volunteers work with all except the veterans. |

top teams in WA. They have a large number of senior and
junior teams that our volunteers work with. |

The UWA Athletics club is one of the
top Athletics clubs in Western Australia. Our volunteers coach and
compete for the club in a number of disciplines. |
West Coast Swimming Club
The West Coast Swimming Club has an excellent reputation is has a
number of Olympic and national swimmers. |

F.C. Nania
F.C
Nania are in Division 1 of the Ghana Football League. The head coach is Abedi
Pele, winner of the European Champions League and
3 times African Player of the Year. He is also the most capped Ghanaian player of all time
(67 caps). Our
volunteers assist Abedi and other high profile coaches and help to
combine a mixture of European and African style coaching techniques. |

Ghana Cricket Association
Travellers Worldwide have partnered with
the Ghana Cricket Association to develop cricket at grass roots level.
Together they have set up a
cricket development programme to
give Ghanaian children the opportunity to learn to play and compete
within a new and exciting sport. |

The NZCPA look after the professional cricket
players in New Zealand as well as developing cricket in the
underprivileged communities of New Zealand. |

club in Auckland. Our volunteers coach a large number of junior
teams and play for the senior teams at the club |

Knysna Sports School
The Knysna Sports School was established in
1992 as a sports promotional tool for the previously disadvantaged
community of South Africa. Our joint sports programme with the
underprivileged community enables our volunteers to work at the sports
school as a sports work experience project.
