INSURANCE: ARE YOU AGED BETWEEN 16-18 OR 55-65?

If you are aged between either 16-18 or 55-65 – please read the following advice carefully before applying for your insurance. This advice has been issued by Endsleigh Insurance Services (Endsleigh) to help guide you through the steps you need to follow in order to successfully complete your application for insurance.

As part of Endsleigh’s partnership agreement with Travellers Worldwide (Travellers), Endsleigh has extended the cover they provide to include cover for participants aged between 16-18 & 55-65 years of age. This arrangement is exclusive to Travellers.

Please Note: Unfortunately, Endsleigh’s Online Booking System isn’t currently configured to accept applications from applicants aged under 18 or over 55 years of age. As a result, there are a couple of additional steps that you will need to complete. Please see the instructions below for guidance.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY

If you are aged 16-18 or 55-65 years of age, please follow the steps outlined below when applying:

• Fill in your trip details (Destination, Start Date, End Date, and Purpose of Trip).
• In the ‘Number of Travellers’ section, you will need to treat yourself as though you fall within Endsleigh’s 18-55 bracket. So, if you are aged 16-18 please treat yourself as if you were 18; and if you are aged 55-65 please treat yourself as if you were 55. This will allow you to progress through to the next screen. Click on ‘How Much?’ to go through to the next screen.

Please note before proceeding through to the next screen you must first agree to the Travel Eligibility Statements. Please read these carefully before agreeing.

• You can now select your policy (‘Your Quote’ screen) and any options (‘Your Options’ screen) you would like.
• You should now be at the ‘Your Details’ screen. Complete your personal details, but when you enter your ‘Date of Birth’ you will need to change your ‘Year of Birth’ so that you fall within the 18-55 bracket. Please change the year of your birth to the nearest allowable year i.e. one that makes you either 18 or 55 years of age. This will allow you to proceed to the next screen.
• Once you’ve entered your details click ‘Continue’.
  You will then be taken to a screen where you will be asked to agree to ‘Important Conditions Relating to Health’. Please read these carefully before agreeing.

You have now finished and you will be provided with a reference for your completed application.

• You now need to notify Travellers of any amendments that are required. Travellers will amend your application so that it shows the correct Date of Birth. Travellers will then collect the payment for your insurance and will then issue your policy to you with the correct date of birth.
