BOLIVIA

Orphanage Project: We have a number of orphanages where you can help and care for children of all ages in this very poor country - a very worthwhile project that will give you lasting satisfaction that you've made a difference!

If you have a special type of project you'd like to do, or a country where you'd like to do a medicine or care related project that is not listed here, please contact us and we can probably arrange it for you. Many of our projects start because a volunteer requested it!

Creche in Brazil

BRAZIL

Creche Project in Foz do Iguacu: A very deserving placement working with pre-school children, this project has a high feel-good factor.
Creche Project in Rio de Janeiro: Also a very deserving project with young children.
Medical Work Experience: This project will allow you to gain experience in general medicine at a hospital, while making home visits and experiencing what life is like for some of Brazil's poorest residents in the shanty towns surrounding beautiful Foz do Iguaçu.
Dentistry Work Experience: This project takes place in the Dentistry department of the hospital described above. You’ll get the chance to learn from the dentists there, while spicing up your CV!
Pharmaceutical Work Experience: This project takes place in the Pharmacy of the hospital described above. You’ll get the chance to learn from the pharmacists there, while spicing up your CV!
Care for disabled children and adults: Help children and adults with mental and physical and emotional disabilities.

CHINA

Care for Children with Cerebral Palsy: This project can be done full-time, or you can combine it with the Teaching English project (you'll work for 2 days with the Cerebral Palsy centre and three days in regular schools).

GHANA

Orphanage Project in the Greater Accra region where you'll assist in an NGO dedicated to providing the very best physical, psychological and care for children who are neglected, abused, or in need of supervision.
Medical Project: Work in a fairly new Medical Centre in Accra, with good facilities and a wide-ranging team of medical specialists. Includes Nursing, Optometry and Dentistry, among others.

GUATEMALA

Care Projects: Gain experience in care, or simply to challenge yourself in a friendly environment where your assistance is really needed.

INDIA

Care for Orphans: This is a fantastic opportunity if you love working with babies and young children and want some hands on experience! You will be involved with the day to day running of the Orphanage and help the nurses wash, feed and play with the children.
Medical Placements in Hospitals: All placements are based in Madurai. You will be able to experience a general hospital overview as well as the chance to volunteer at smaller doctor’s practices which specialize in gynaecology and obstetrics, paediatrics and psychology. No qualifications are required!
YMCA Deaf School Project: An extremely worthwhile project that really offers you the chance to give something back and help a very much neglected section of society in the sub-continent.

KENYA

MALAWI

Care for Children in Orphanages: You'll help the carers with the children and the day-to-day running of the orphanages

MALAYSIA

Care Project - Help children with mental, physical and emotional disabilities as well as some young adults and abused women/children. This is a challenging and rewarding project that is suitable for disabled volunteers because the buildings are wheelchair friendly and accessible.

SOUTH AFRICA

Care for children with autism, special needs or mental or physical impairment, or children who come from very disadvantaged backgrounds - a very worthwhile project based in the hugely popular city of Cape Town
Care work with children in the only dedicated Children's Hospital south of the Sahara.
Orphanage Care providing care and support to orphans in a children's home in Knysna
Social work / Care with children providing hope and help to troubled young people in a Youth Development Centre in a township on the outskirts of Knysna
Care with orphaned and vulnerable children plus rural Community Development - located in KwaZulu-Natal, the Zulu homeland and a wonderful cultural experience.. You'll live in a lively city and work in outlying rural communities.

TANZANIA
