DURATIONS: The durations
given below are recommended durations. However,
we can arrange internships from 4 weeks upwards in these companies or in
similar companies. So if you can't stay for the recommended duration given
below, please contact us and we'll arrange a shorter-term internship for
you.
EG 8121: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
INTERNSHIP - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Location: Sydney
Requirements: At least 1 year's studies in a related
field Duration: 12 weeks
Compensation: Unpaid Price:
£1,295 up to 6 weeks, £1,595 up to 12 weeks, £1,795 up to 26
weeks.
What's included: Arranging
the internship, pre-departure support and assistance, assistance
with visa application, funds protection insurance, meeting at the
airport, in-country support & backup, 24-hr emergency support,
Certificate of Completion
What's not included:
Flights, accommodation & food, travel insurance, cost of visa,
return transfer to the airport.
You'll
intern as a Production Assistant in this mechanical engineering
company. The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting the
Production Manager and Production Engineer in day-to-day planning,
organisation and management of the company’s production facility.
The primary experience and training areas you'll be involved
in include:
Drawing - Learn how to ensure all drawings
are prepared to specification or internal customer
requirements and then issued to the factory for manufacture.
Programming: - Learn how to develop
material for input into the computer simulators utilising
drawings and specifications.
Quoting: - Learn how to produce quotations
to customer requirements in compliance with production
capability.
Planning and Scheduling - Training in
prioritising, producing and tracking production schedules to
production floor.
Production support - Attend and participate
in production safety meetings, participate in projects to
improve production efficiency.
Cross-Functional Support - Assist on the
production floor as required to plan usage of raw product
minimising wastage.
Projects - Tensiloy product costing model.
Administration and Maintenance: Learn how
to maintain a register of Tensiloy, Wearplate, and TLC part
numbers
Location: Melbourne
