On this internship
you'll gain experience from the Commercial Underwriters in the
management and underwriting of their credit insurance portfolio
and promote sales of the company’s products and services in
Australia.

This is an exciting internship opportunity to assist the Trade
Credit Risk Underwriters and Claims officers with support and back
office administration.
Opportunities for work experience
and training areas include:
Assisting risk underwriters
with file preparation including financial analysis and research of
buyer information.
Preparation and
consolidation of industry data into complete short industry
reports
Involvement with B2F rating of large risks in line
with SAP program.
Updating of Common Risk System (CRS) in
accordance with policy and procedures.
Ordering reports from

Maintaining high work-flow
standards as required.

Position Description: The purpose of this role is to provide insight into the
investigating, reserving and adjusting of claims within the Specialty
Claims department. The role would involve legal research, coverage
analysis, settlement, negotiation, defense management, providing
coverage advice and business/ relationship management.
Analyze first report of claim, suit or underlying material to
determine nature of loss, coverage provided and exposure.
Provide technical assistance in handling claims.
Accompanied by the Claims Specialist, meet with appropriate parties to
litigation or claims as necessary, to observe resolution of issues.
Attend various claims meetings with a member of the Speciality claims
team to observe how cases are presented to various stakeholders.
