Position Description:
As the intern, you'll assist on preparations for Spring Racing Carnival Fashion.

  • Model fittings, being part of the team discussion on style changes or fit perfection

  • Assisting patternmaker with gradings or simple patterns

  • Assisting production manager with computer based tasks with fashion program

  • Design input (after assessing customer base style and demographic)

  • Fabric selection for next summer collection.

  • Design and art direction for assigned projects including major web sites, electronic newsletters, HTML emails, banner ads, micro-sites and landing pages.

  • Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for the client and campaign websites

  • Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary

  • Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that fit in the clients branding; ensure that sites are easy to navigate
