Surfing in Florianópolis

Your school is a professional school based on Praia dos Ingleses.

• You can choose how many lessons you'd like to take from 3 to 12. Periods are flexible, so you can take 3 lessons in 5 weeks or 12 lessons in 2 weeks... it's totally up to you!

• Any level catered for!

• You'll always have a couple of theory lessons in your course alongside a majority of practical lessons on the beach!

• All your instructors are qualified and experienced, and all lessons are held next to a lifeguard base for added safety in the water

• All equipment is provided for you by the school, including surfboards and clothing. You even get a free rubber surf shirt to keep included in the cost of your project!

The training includes: 

1 - Physical Preparation: Stretching exercises to increase muscle strength, exercises to increase aerobic capacity

2 - Preparation Technique: Lying and sitting, rowing, dolphin, getting in on the right or left, standing (drop) and the first maneuvers

3 - Basics: Winds and tides, ocean currents and flow (channels), safety precautions, care equipment, environmental education and nutrition
