LIST OF SPORTS PROJECTS AVAILABLE IN GHANA

Please select a sport from the list below that appeals to you the most. All sports are enthusiastically welcomed by children and schools alike and all are available to male or female volunteers. If you have skills in more than one sport, it may be possible to coach a few different disciplines. You can combine two or three different projects to gain a broad African experience.

You don't need any qualifications to coach sports, just a knowledge of the game. We provide you with Manuals on how to coach each type of sport, as well as Manuals on warming-up exercises, fun games to play, and more.
 

	COACHING CRICKET IN ACCRA Here you'll give support to the Cricket Development Programme which Travellers and the Ghana Cricket Association have jointly set up to help children in schools learn to play the game. You don’t need a great knowledge of cricket and the rules, but you must be enthusiastic and enjoy playing the game. To read more about this project, click here
	COACHING FOOTBALL IN ACCRA You'll coach football during lessons in a number of schools, and coach the teams after school. You'll also be involved in organising, managing and running the Travellers Football Tournaments. To read more about this project, click here
