Exotic mouth-watering arrays of dishes are on offer when you enrol on our Khmer cookery classes in Sihanoukville. Learn how to cook traditional Khmer food with an experienced local chef!

These courses take place on the mainland, so if your project is based on Koh Rong Samloem Island or in Siem Reap, you'll be able to do a 3-day course before or after completion of your project.

Enjoy a refreshing cold drink or tea or coffee to start the day, followed by a seasonal fruit tasting. Then learn to prepare some traditional Khmer recipes in the cool roof terrace with the guidance of our own English-speaking cook. You will learn how to prepare 4 dishes in a day. Relax with a glass of wine or two over lunch.

Price includes tea, coffee, lemon juice, wine or beer with lunch. Free recipe cards to take home with you. Enjoy eating your food and have a fun day out.

Class 1 - Monday or Thursday

 

  • 1st Course - Fresh spring rolls with vegetable and/or bacon. Chay Yon.

  • 2nd Course - Fish soup with prawns and fresh herbs and lime.

  • 3rd Course - Loklac. Beefin Khmer sauce.

  • 4th Course - Sticky rice with mango and coconut.

Class 2 - Tuesday or Friday

 

  • 1st Course - Deep fried spring rolls with vegetables and/or pork. Chay Yon

  • 2nd Course - Banana flower salad with steamed chicken

  • 3rd Course - Fish Amok

  • 4th Course - Deep fried banana – Chek Chean

Class 3 - Wednesday or Saturday

 

  • 1st Course - Shrimp Cakes

  • 2nd Course - Crispy rice noodles with fillet beef salad

  • 3rd Course - Red Chicken Curry
